My work is shaped by lived experience. Growing up Bahamian influences what I make naturally not as a concept, but as context. The past, present, and concepts of the future show up in the work because they’re part of my life.

KANI isn’t tied to one look or one idea. I design across categories and perspectives, allowing the work to shift as I do. Some pieces feel structured, others emotional or fluid. There’s no fixed formula just instinct and evolution.

I care deeply about construction, comfort, and how clothing feels on the body. I create because it feels natural to me. Clothing is simply the language I use.

KANI is an ongoing practice a space to create freely, grow openly, and build something that reflects where I am in time.
